Carina LaMarchina (“Lah-mar-KEE-nuh” and she/her/they/them) is a character actress who is a native of the greater Los Angeles area and has lived there her whole life so far. Throughout the time she’s been acting, they have co-starred in not one, but two series streaming on Amazon Prime Video (“Park Acrobats” and “Just Roommates“), been the supporting role of auditionee “Elizabeth Thomas” in the feature film Howard Original that was shopped at the Cannes Film Festival and is on multiple streaming platforms, and played an FLDS wife in Fox and Leopard’s award-winning short film Ty that shot on location in Utah, along with having been in various other projects. Carina brings a perfect blend of eccentric and comedic relief to the screen, which is radiant in characters such as the loudly supportive bestie, the brassy brat, and the sarcastic rebel to name a few.
Carina writes and produces their own work from time to time as well, such as her original micro-short film The Debate that has won multiple awards including Best Microfilm in the Los Angeles Film Awards and Honorable Mention for Best Teen World Short in the X World Film Festival.
In Carina’s free time, you can find her dreaming up international adventures, jamming to Alanis Morissette (whose music she was embarrassingly late to discovering and falling in love with), stuffing their face with AYCE sushi and KBBQ, metaphorically (and maybe literally) picketing for a poverty-free society, and soaking in relaxing hot water anywhere she’d be allowed to.
